We arrived in Venice this afternoon about an hour late after a train malfunction. We are staying on the island of Lido which is about a 5 minute boat ride to the heart of Venice. Lido is a beautiful island that has gorgeous sandy beaches and wonderful quiet streets. I would recommend it. I have more photos to upload but I'm getting tired and need to get some sleep.
