Yesterday we spent the day at Versailles. We were able to take a private tour of the private chambers and a tram tour of the gardens. At night we ate at a small Italian place near our apartment and walked all over the city with some delicious gelato. This morning I woke early and went shopping for breakfast foods. I went to the butcher and bought some fresh sliced bacon. We got some seven grain bread at the bread store and eggs, veggies and juice at the market. For breakfast I made bacon, fried potatoes and a pepper, onion, mushroom ommlette with two different types of french cheese (pics to follow). It is raining today - the first day of rain on our entire trip! We've had pretty much blue skies all the way. We are going to take it easy today. I'm going to try and get caught up on my blog posts.
