France

Our first night in France was a good one. We went to a cool little cafe where the food was quite delicious. We started with escargot (snails) in a buttery herb sauce. For my maeal I had burgundy beef which was a delicious stew with potatoes and mushroom. The sauce was rich and wonderful for dipping fresh baked baguettes into. Laura had a filet mignon with a great sauce and some of the best fries we've ever had. After we walked over to Notre Dame which is less than a mile from the apartment where we are staying. What a great first night.
