First Full Day

Today we woke up around 9:00AM and made homemade French toast on sliced baguettes with vanilla and cinnamon. We also had fresh fruit, quiche from a local bakery and chocolate croissants. After breakfast we headed out for an adventure to the Champs Elysees and the Arc De Triumphe. On our way we had quite a fun time trying to figure out the Metro (ask Bryan and Nancy about it). For lunch we went to Fouquets on the Champs Elysian. If you ever get there - try the chicken and cheese sandwich (best cheese sandwich I've ever had). From there we went to the Eiffel Tower and went to the top and enjoyed the view. On our way home we stopped for tea and scones at Mariage Freres. Everyone teased me for my three large scoops of sugar in my tea. My favorite was Marco Polo. We stopped at the local butcher and supermarket to buy food for tonight's dinner that I'm going to cook. I will update you later on what I'm cooking.
